This little girls love of horses cannot be contained! I created her a space where she can dream big and play hard and of course included her 2 favorite colors – pink and purple! The purple on the walls goes down as one of my favorite purple paints of all time! In certain lights it looks grey and in others a beautiful purple!
This amazing horse set the stage for the entire room! Not only did it include her favorite colors. pink and purple, but it allowed us to incorporate additional colors into the room and bring the colors together. This is the first thing you see when you walk into the room! The colors and patterns are amazing!
You will notice that the sheets on the bed include these vibrant colors as well. To tone it down a bit, I added some more muted pinks, purples and white in the other elements of the bedding. These sweet throw pillows bring the bed together.
Hung above her dresser is a beautiful canvas print of a horse that she just loves. and I added a few of her small play horses as decor.
The paint on the walls goes down as my favorite purple paint of all time – SW Sensitive Tint – it reads a nice calm purple. This is the paint that is on most of the walls. The backdrop behind the horse is framed over SW Functional Grey. The outer frame is SW Grape Mist while the inner part is SW Silver Peony. Both go beautifully with Sensitive Tint!
Of course a little girls room is not complete with out a horse stable and some horses! This cute little set up sits right below a canvas of the little girl riding her horse! What a prefect place for imagination and play!
