At EH Design, we believe a well-designed home begins with a well-led process. Whether we are guiding a new build, a large-scale remodel, or a second home retreat, our role is to bring clarity, vision, and thoughtful direction from the earliest planning stages through the final layers that make a home feel complete.

Concept & Vision
Every project begins with understanding how you live, what matters most to you, and how you want your home to feel.
In this phase, we collaborate closely with you, your builder, and your architect to establish the overall vision for the home. We begin shaping the design direction, identifying priorities, and ensuring the interior design is aligned with the architecture from the very beginning.

Design Development
With the vision established, we continue working alongside your builder and architect to refine the details that will shape the home.
This phase includes space planning, floor plan review, cabinetry concepts, finish direction, and the development of the material palette. We work through the home with a careful eye toward proportion, flow, and continuity so that each space feels connected and thoughtfully resolved before construction progresses furthe

Selections & Specifications
Once the design direction is defined, we curate the materials, fixtures, and finishes that bring it to life.
From tile and stone to plumbing, lighting, hardware, flooring, paint, and other interior selections, each specification is made with precision and intention. At this stage, selections are finalized and documented, then handed off to your builder so construction can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Implementation

Completion & Styling
As construction moves forward, we continue working closely with your builder and trades to support the execution of the design.
We answer questions, review details, and help ensure that what was envisioned is carried through thoughtfully during the build process. During this phase, furniture planning also begins to take shape—allowing us to design each space holistically, considering both the architectural elements and how the home will ultimately be lived in.
As the project nears completion, we turn our attention to the final layers that bring warmth and personality to the home.
This may include furnishings, styling, artwork, textiles, accessories, and finishing touches that make the space feel complete. These elements are essential to creating a home that feels not only beautiful, but fully lived in and welcoming.
