Minnetonka Beach Remodel | Main Level Back Entry

Welcome to the main level back entry of the stunning Minnetonka Beach Project. We have revealed to you in previous blog posts this home's Kitchen and Laundry Room. Both are stunning spaces in this home, so go check them out! Let's dive into the details of this area of the home.

Sitting off the kitchen is this highly functional back entry. It is designed to enter into the home from the backyard as well as a space for the kiddos to head in from school. Back here, you will find the laundry room that we previously discussed, as well as a powder room. There is a staircase to head up to the loft or to the lower level rec room, lower level mudroom (to be revealed), and garage. This small space packs a punch and is the segway to many areas in the home.

From this view, you can see the kitchen and the powder room. This stunning and functional wall was designed to look fantastic on its own and be useful. The family pins the kids' artwork here as well as family schedules and to-dos. The perfect spot is the entrance from the garage to the home's central area.

Because this home sits on the lake in Minnesota, it was only fitting that we incorporate this darling wallpaper. This deep navy matches the stunning deep navy you will see on the lockers located in this back space as well.

As you walk out of the powder room and into the mudroom space, you can see the beautiful navy lockers against the navy fish.

Standing tall are these beautiful navy lockers to capture all of the backpacks, jackets, and shoes when the family comes in from school or a long day. These beautiful lockers have space underneath to easily wipe up the floors, drawers to keep hats and mittens, and doors to hide the mess.

This back entry is jam-packed with function and productivity. With every turn is something new. With the laundry room right off of the mudroom, it makes it very convenient to toss in a load before heading out the door.

Just when you think we have been through all of the functionality of this back mudroom, we show you this lovely command station. Housed here is the dumbwaiter that takes your items down to the garage or sends your groceries to the main level right off the kitchen.

It's the perfect place for an organized junk drawer and to sort your mail.

In addition to everything else this command station holds, it also caters to their sweet two pups! Their sweet pups can come and go as they please for a sip of water. We encased it in stone and tile for easy cleanup. It's also out of the way of the kitchen so it can be out at all times with minimal mess.
